Welcome to Bethel Queen Creek

I’m Lucas Kirkland, the lead pastor of Bethel Queen Creek, and I have the privilege of serving alongside my wife, Dana, and our family. Together, our heart is to see people of all ages encounter Jesus and grow into everything God has for them.

I met Jesus in a life-changing way on a college campus in 2008, and that encounter changed the direction of my life. Today, I pastor Bethel QC while also serving as Vice President of a local aerospace manufacturing company. I believe the Gospel is meant to shape real life—at home, at work, and throughout our community.

Dana has loved Jesus from a young age and has spent much of her life serving the church. As a mother, homemaker, and homeschooler, she is deeply passionate about cultivating Christ-centered homes and communities where people are known, loved, and challenged to grow.

We’ve been married for 15 years and are raising our five children with a deep commitment to building a Christ-centered home. That same heart shapes our vision for Bethel QC: a Gospel-centered community where lives are transformed, disciples are formed, and the love of Jesus is lived out in everyday life throughout Queen Creek.

We would love the opportunity to meet you, get to know your story, and walk with you as you pursue all that God has for your life.
We look forward to meeting you soon.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

The following are the core beliefs of Bethel Church based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these Biblical doctrines.

Holy Scriptures
In the Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy, and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
God
In one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
In our Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, his virgin birth, his sinless human life, his divine miracles, his vicarious and atoning death, his bodily resurrection, his ascension, his mediatorial work, and his personal return in power and glory.
Salvation
In the salvation of lost and sinful man through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith apart from works, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit
In the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a holy life, to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Church
In the unity of the Spirit of all true believers—the Church, the Body of Christ.
Resurrection
In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
