Blessed to Bless

Before God calls us to an assignment, He calls us into relationship. In this message from Hebrews 7, Ps Mike Gowans explores how Jesus, our better High Priest, invites us to live as sons and daughters who receive His blessing and become a blessing to others.

Through the example of Melchizedek and Abraham, we learn how to fight the right battles, bring home blessings instead of spoils, receive daily from God's presence, and lead from a place of dependence rather than self-sufficiency. Most importantly, we're reminded that our identity is not determined by our past, our failures, or even our earthly experiences—but by our Heavenly Father.

No matter where you've been or what you've carried, Jesus stands in the gap for you. He offers forgiveness, peace, righteousness, and a new identity as a beloved child of God.
